It is one of its own kind. It’s aging, but beautifully. Being luxurious in its own class, “Bold” is the word for Chrysler 300. Like Chrysler says “Iconic in every way”, it proves itself with the 300.
This emphatic machine is available in 5 models, viz., Touring, Touring L, 300S, Limited, 300C. While the two versions of this large, rear-drive, four-door sedan provide two strong engine choices, neither model of the 300 is a sport sedan. With a seating capacity of 5, the Chrysler 300 does justice to the tag of ample cabin space.
What’s New for 2020 Chrysler 300?
Chrysler 300 made its first appearance in 2005. It underwent a complete redesigning in 2011 and ever since then not a lot has changed. The grille in the front is not as spaced out as it used to be, which makes it look classier.
While the latest version of the Chrysler 300 does not offer major changes, it does offer some new customization options. The Red S Appearance package offers 20-inch Black Noise wheels and exterior badging while the Radar Red upholstery color provides a makeover to the interior. Amethyst, Frostbite, and Canyon Sunset are the new colors that the car would be available in.
How well does the 2020 Chrysler 300 perform?

Trims and Features
The 2020 Chrysler 300 is a uniquely styled luxury sedan. With the tough and considered-to-be-outdated design, the Chrysler 300 gives a hard fight to its class competitors, the Nissan Maxima, Toyota Avalon, Kia Cadenza, and Chevrolet Impala. The exterior is equipped with a LED daytime running light, Bi-functional projector headlamp, and black headlamp bezel, though the design could have been improved. The front has a concave design in the hood which fades out as it goes back toward the windshield. The chrome finishing around the vent and the grill uplift the class of the car. The sidelines give the car a better look. It is a spacious car with a badass side view.
Chrysler made sure that the 300 would not run out of space in any way. The trunk is very spacious and is equipped with two very convenient hooks. The cup holders in the front are covered with a very cool lid. The front storage is considerably spacious. The center console has a leather covering, 12V charging point, 2USB ports, an in and out auxiliary jack, and a party tray. Moving to the rear side, it is equipped with 2 AC vents, a USB port, an armrest with 2 cup holders and ample amounts of head, as well as, leg space.
When we talk about the interiors, the textures and the dashboard design could have been better. The seats are comfortable for long routes but do not count as a good design.
The 2020 Chrysler 300 Touring is equipped with an 8.5-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system, 6 speaker audio system, climate control, Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, voice command with Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio and an optional navigation system. The infotainment system is fast and very easy to use.
Some other uplifting features of the car are-
- The attractive gauge with both digital and analog meters and a blue backlight.
- With an optional dual panoramic sunroof, the car gets an exclusive touch.
- It even includes an 8-way power-adjustable seat with 4-way power lumbar support, back-up camera with trajectory, auto-dimming mirror, keyless entry, and ignition.
In comparison to its siblings, the suspension on the 300S model is stiffer than the others so it is not as comfortable. You can instead opt for a base Limited or an upscale 300C model. While the 300 Touring comes with cloth seats and few amenities, the fancier Limited model comes with far more features which include power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and seats as well as illuminated cup-holders. The top-spec 300C comes with a power-adjustable, heated steering wheel and heated as well as ventilated front and rear seats. In the SafetyTec Plus package, Chrysler’s driver-assistance gear is available for all but the base Touring model.
Is the 2020 Chrysler 300 safe?
When it comes to safety, Chrysler has provided only basic features. It includes 7 airbags including advanced multistage front airbags, an anti-theft engine immobilizer, rear-side parking camera, tire-pressure monitoring display, and standard electronic stability control. Some optional safety features consist of-
Forward collision warning, parking sensor, lane keep assisting, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency brake, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, and adaptive cruise control. In terms of overall safety, the Chrysler 300 has a scope for improvement.
Should you buy the 2020 Chrysler 300 Touring?
The 2020 Chrysler 300 Touring with even little changes in many years, counts as a high-class luxury sedan that comes with all modern conveniences. It is clear that Chrysler has given its time and thought in making the car as comfortable and spacious as it could be. It outfits the needs and demands for both daily use and long routes. One could only question the interior texture choice and design of the car as Chrysler decided to leave the essence of the car untouched.
